Players, goaltenders and staff for the Wingham Ironmen did not want to give up on their season, pushing the squad’s fourth and final game to five overtime periods before losing 5-4 to the Hanover Barons on Feb. 27.

The Listowel Cyclones (10th in the Western Conference of the GOHL) went up against the Komoka Kings (11th in the Western Conference of the GOHL) on Feb. 20 at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex.

The Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) playoffs started locally over the weekend and, despite a significant point difference at the end of the season, the Walkerton Capitals are keeping pace with the Kincardine Bulldogs.

Despite the team falling short in its final three games of the season, the Walkerton Capitals finished out in fifth place thanks to having one more win than the trailing Mitchell Hawks.
