Last weekend was all about resiliency and grit for the Listowel Junior Cyclones, who emerged from their two Midwestern Conference matchups with a pair of valuable points as the 2021-22 GOJHL campaign has reached the halfway mark.

It was a busy weekend for the Walkerton Hawks, with two home games and one away, none of which produced the results the Hawks wanted.

The Wingham Ironmen hit the road last weekend and returned home with two wins, 4-3 over the Kincardine Bulldogs, and 8-3 over the Walkerton Hawks.

The Hanover Falcons U13 LL team took first place in the Wade Simmons Memorial Hockey Tournament in Tiverton on Nov. 29. They won over Arran-Elderslie Minor Hockey in a tight game, with Hanover scoring the winning goal with just three minutes left in the third period.
