Despite the team falling short in its final three games of the season, the Walkerton Capitals finished out in fifth place thanks to having one more win than the trailing Mitchell Hawks.

The Walkerton Capitals are clinging to fifth place in the Provincial Junior Hockey League North Pollock Division. While tied for points with the sixth-place Mitchell Hawks, the Capitals have one more win, placing them ahead.
