Dennis Steven Lange

Dennis Steven Lange of Mildmay passed away at home on Saturday, April 25, 2026, due to complications of pneumonia. He was 64.

Dennis and his loving wife of 42 years, Ann, made Mildmay their home, where they built a life centered on family, friendship, and community.

He was a proud and devoted father to Amy (Derek) Mantell of Palmerston and Stacey (Donald) Wilson of Mildmay, and a cherished Grandpa Dennis to Theodore, Wesley, and Everly Wilson, and Alice Mantell. He found great joy in time spent with his grandchildren, always ready to play, laugh, and make lasting memories.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Carol Lange of Palmerston; his brothers, David (Leeanne) Lange of Shelburne and Larry (Carola) Lange of Port Elgin; and his extended family including Joan VanWylick of Chesterville, Wayne (Fran) Kuntz of Stratford, Pat (Dave) Missere of Fergus, Tom (Trish) Kuntz of Hanover, Paul (Donna) Kuntz of Mildmay, Phillip (Virginia) Kuntz of Hanover, Doreen (Paul) Klages of Mildmay, Dan (Gloria) Kuntz of Carlsruhe; along with many nieces and nephews, to whom he was a fun and caring uncle.

Predeceased by his father, Reinhard Lange; brothers-in-law, John VanWylick and Eugene Kuntz; and his parents-in-law, Francis and Audrey Kuntz.

Dennis was known for his warm smile, quick wit, and the ease with which he made friends wherever he went. He was caring, kind, and always thinking of others before himself. Whether lending a helping hand or sharing a laugh, Denny left a lasting impression on those around him.

He took great pride in his work and was well known and respected by colleagues and community members alike. Outside of work, Dennis enjoyed the simple pleasures of life–especially the social side of fishing, spending time outdoors, and working on his project motorcycles. He treasured trips with friends and family and the memories made along the way.

A dedicated member of his community, Dennis was actively involved with the Rotary Club of Mildmay and was a faithful and devoted volunteer at his church. His commitment to helping others and giving back reflected the values he lived by every day.
