William Everett Errington of Walkerton went to be with his beloved Lord and Saviour on Sunday, Nov 17, 2024, in his 77th year. Dearly loved husband of Anna (Gorrill) Errington for 44 years. Cherished brother of Eleanor (Mervin) Schwartz and Ross (Ellen) Errington. Special brother-in-law to Lois (the late Nigel Wood) and Mary Dempster. Loving uncle to Stephen, Andrew, Peter, Graeme, Alex, and Karmen. Predeceased by his parents, William and Beatrice Errington, brother-in-law Nigel Wood, niece Kathleen Errington and nephew Michael Wood.
Everett went to school in the Wingham, Ontario, area and started to work as an accounting clerk at Canada Packers in Walkerton after graduating in 1966.
After retiring, he worked several part-time jobs, including lawn maintenance, tax preparation and odd jobs for seniors. He was the church treasurer from about 1982 until 2022. Everett was known for his generous spirit, always ready to help others.
Celebration of Life for Everett will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Walkerton Pentecostal Church (1736 Highway 9, Walkerton) followed by refreshments. Interment in Walkerton Cemetery.
