It is with great sadness that the family of Robert David Ferguson announces his passing on November 14, 2021 in Odessa, Texas.
Robert passed away at the age of 61 after a brief battle with cancer.
Robert is survived by his parents, Stan and Jean Ferguson of Walkerton, his son David, and his brothers Stephen (Nina) of St. Catharines, Ontario and Don (Cindy) of Hillsborough, North Carolina.
Robert is predeceased by his wife of almost 25 years and his best friend of 33 years, Julia Anne (Phinney) Ferguson. He will be fondly remembered as a great friend to many.
Robert attended WDSS where he excelled in many sports. Robert was a graduate of Georgian College.
He and Julie lived in Barrie until they moved to Texas. There, Robert continued his love of sports and was an avid golfer.
Cremation has taken place and Robert will be laid to rest in Walkerton.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Walkerton Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion or to Saugeen Hospice in Walkerton.
