Mildred Ilene Montgomery of Goderich and Listowel, passed away July 20, 2022 at the age of 88. Millie was born in Kincaid, Saskatchewan on the 21st of November 1933.
Wife to the late Maitland (Chuck) Montgomery and beloved partner Robert Clarke of Listowel. Dearly missed by her children Marilyn (Bryan) Stothers, Mark (Lynda) Montgomery, Marie (Tim) Piskorski and Mel Montgomery, her 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Millie was predeceased by her son Michael “Mike” Montgomery and her brother John Quaid, sisters Marion (Vince) DeSilva, Anne (Charlie) Anderson, Mable (George) Westlake, Helen (Mel) Dickson. Also survived by her twin brother Ken “Bud” (Jessie) Quaid and sister-in-law Evelyn Quaid.
Millie enjoyed many, many years as a seamstress. She could be found always enjoying the Toronto Blue Jays or Maple Leafs. She took many trips around the country and many states throughout the U.S. She also enjoyed her visits to and from her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family received friends at McCallum& Palla Funeral Home, Goderich, on Monday July 25, 2022 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am. Interment was in Colborne Cemetery.
