The Listowel Legionnaires were unable to utilize home-field advantage during the junior club’s year-end Midwestern Ontario Baseball League (MOSBL) tournament on Aug. 18-20.

While the Listowel Cyclones didn’t get the result they were hoping for in their first GOJHL preseason bout of 2023-24, the good news is there is still plenty of time to work out the kinks when the real show begins next month.

The Wroxeter Rippers (3-14) and Wingham Hitmen (12-6) clashed in Huron County Fastball League action on Sunday, Aug. 20 in Wroxeter. The Hitmen took a decisive 12-1 victory.
