It was gold for the Central Perth U9 Predators at the year-end Meltdown Tournament in Mount Forest on March 24.

The Walkerton District Community School elementary boys’ basketball team won the WDCS Invitational Basketball Tournament recently, beating Kincardine 27-20 in the final with important contributions by all 13 players.

The Upper Maitland Mustangs U9 HL squad went undefeated in the WOAA year end tournament at the Ripley Community Centre over the March 23-24 weekend.

WALKERTON – Playoff junior hockey in Walkerton came to an unceremonious end on March 6, as the Capitals were swept out of the Pollock Division quarter-finals at the hands of the Fergus Whalers with a 5-2 loss in Game 4.
