LISTOWEL - The Listowel Cyclones U13-1 team are celebrating their win at the recent Bob Beaumont Tournament in Parry Sound Tournament and the success of a food drive hosted by the local team.

LISTOWEL - The Southwest Surge took on the Midwest 49ers in a U15B game at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex in Listowel on Dec. 14.

LISTOWEL - The Listowel Cyclones (10th in the Western Conference of the GOHL) and the Elmira Sugar Kings (second in the Western Conference of the GOHL) went head to head for the “Battle of 86” on Friday, Dec. 12 at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex.

WINGHAM - Many were dressed in their Christmas finest for the first annual Santaspiel hosted at the Maitland Granite Curling Club on Dec. 13. 

LISTOWEL - The Listowel Legionnaire organization is leading off in advance of its 2026 baseball season with a request for more sign time.

PERTH - The U13 Central Perth Predators travelled to Twin Center on the November 29-30 weekend for the Richard Vollmer Memorial and Rep Classic Tournament.

LISTOWEL - On Dec. 6-7, The Listowel Curling Club hosted a U15 Junior Slam event.

ST. THOMAS - It was a memorable weekend for two local youth curlers, as both Gavyn Harwood and Brooke Schaefer secured spots at the U18 Provincial Championship alongside their respective teams.

LISTOWEL - The Listowel Cyclones (10th in the Western Conference of the Greater Ontario Hockey League, GOHL) were back at the Steve Memorial Complex on Friday, Dec. 5 to face off against the London Nationals (Third in the Western Conference of the GOHL).

WALKERTON - The Walkerton District Community School (WDCS) girls basketball team achieved the deepest Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) run in the school’s history after advancing to the quarterfinals in the ‘A’ division tournament held Nov. 21–23.

LISTOWEL - The Listowel Cyclones, currently 10th in the Western Conference of the GOJHL, went up against the Caledon Bombers on Sunday, Nov. 30 at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex, coming out with another victory.
