HOWICK - At its Dec. 9 meeting, council here received a delegation from Howick’s Community Improvement and Beautification Committee about the idea of exploring the possibility of expanding the township’s bylaw enforcement time, budget and capabilities.

Provided that Howick Council commits to the creation of a childcare facility by the end of the year, Huron County will funnel $2 million to Howick from the province to cover the cost of creating the space.
