HOWICK - Fire Chief Josh Kestner came to council here at its Sept. 9 meeting, recommending they accept three quotes gathered for the Howick Fire Station steel cladding project, and approve the quote from Prior Projects and Renos of Mildmay in the amount of $24,295 – the lowest bid of the three.

HOWICK - Council here is proceeding with a request for major improvement and extension by petition for municipal drain #20, currently causing damage on Gorrie Line.

PALMERSTON - Eight hockey teams are set to face off at the Palmerston and District Community Centre Complex at the end of October to benefit the Friesen family.
