Although the region of Huron-Perth did not fall along the path of totality, the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse still put on a show in the sky with 95 per cent totality visible. The next total solar eclipse is expected to be visible from this area on October 26, 2144. 

Canadian military to conduct emergency management training in Huron-Bruce

In March, the unemployment rate for the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region decreased by 0.4 percentage points to 4.1 per cent. Meanwhile, the provincial unemployment rate increased by 0.5 percentage points to 6.6 per cent, both unadjusted for seasonality.
