Listowel District Secondary School sent seven senior players to the 2023 Western Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association (WOSSAA) badminton championships on May 4, with three returning home with a top-five placing.

The LDSS junior boys’ hockey team had a short but highly-successful season, entering two competitive tournaments this spring.

It was a flawless Friday of rugby for both the F.E. Madill girls’ and senior boys clubs on April 28, with the latter taking a 24-0 win over St. Michael Catholic Secondary School. The girls squad would post a 26-0 victory over St. Mike's.

In the spring of 2022, as high school sports squads struggled to restart in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, three teams took part in the 14th running of the Matthew Dinning Memorial Cup rugby tournament.
