Kyler Nixon scored three times and Brendon Landry stopped 46 shots in goal to lead the Durham Thundercats (1-0-0) to a 4-3 win over the Ripley Wolves (1-2-0) on Saturday night.

The Junior Capitals were able to snap a four-game losing skid with a decisive 3-0 win over the Wingham Ironmen on Oct. 21 at the Walkerton Community Centre.
