The Perth East Recreation Complex in Milverton will be showcasing the region’s top talent on the minor hockey circuit on March 26, when the Central Perth Predators play host to the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League’s (WOGHL) all-star festivities.

The Monkton Skating Club held its showcase on March 7 at the Elma-Logan Recreation Complex. The young skaters performed to songs from the popular kid’s movie, Encanto. The event saw skaters from all levels perform themed ice dances to the movie’s hit songs.

The Milverton Four Wheel Drives appeared poised to take a 3-1 series stranglehold in their best-of-seven WOAA Senior A championship tilt with the Shallow Lake Crushers on March 12, but then Mackenzie Fleming decided to take over Game 4.

The 2023 edition of the Gord Hymers U11 Tournament saw 16 teams take part in both Listowel and Monkton, March 10-12. The Listowel U11 Rep Cyclones put forth a solid effort in the tournament, finishing as ‘B’ championship finalists.

Of the three PJHL North Pollock Division quarter-final playoff series, there was little doubt heading into the postseason that the best-of-seven between the Wingham Ironmen and Kincardine Bulldogs was going to be the tightest. Through three games, it has lived up to the billing.
