Pathway to the Past: Local healthcare history
It’s October. A season of falling leaves, cooler temps, cozying up with a good book and warm drink, and the Healthcare Heroes Radiothon. Now entering it’s 23rd year, I thought this would be a fitting time to delve into a little bit of the history of healthcare and hospitals in North Perth.
Pieces of the Past: Revisiting the Milverton Sun
One of the local newspapers that you can now access from home via the Stratford-Perth Archives Digital Newspaper Database at vitacollections.ca/s-pacollections/search is the Milverton Sun from 1891 to 1919. Later issues are available on microfilm in the Archives’ Reading Room.
Wingham and Area Historical Society on the Goderich Salt Mines
