LISTOWEL - Judges were in agreement on two things at the Listowel Fair Ambassador competition. The first was that this was one of the toughest competitions that they had judged; and the second, that Jillian Ohm should be crowned the 2025-26 ambassador of the fair.

County pauses investigation of development charges

STRATFORD - Perth County staff sought direction from council on July 3 to begin an investigation into the implementation of development charges; however, council asked staff to defer until next year, citing incoming legislation from the province.
