Over 2,000 soup lovers attended the 30th anniversary Soups On fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Society of Huron/Perth at the Rotary Complex here on Jan. 11.

The amount needed to raise now through taxation is $4,28,912.71, which brings a proposed tax rate increase of 6.059% plus the 2% capital infrastructure levy – totalling 8.059%.
