LISTOWEL - Redevelopment of  the Listowel Memorial Hospital (LMH) is in the planning stages.

HOWICK - At its most recent meeting, council here heard a delegation from resident Rob Kienapple regarding the township’s zoning bylaw housekeeping amendment – which failed to gain approval at the March 10 meeting.

HOWICK - Council has agreed not to proceed with the construction of a day care facility in the township at this time.

STRATFORD - The Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) Board of Health met at its West Gore site in Stratford on March 13 and reviewed mileage rates paid out.

The Listowel Cyclones - 10th in the Western Conference of the Greater Ontario Hockey League (GOHL)-  carried out a 5-1 victory over the Sarnia Legionnaires (12th in the Western Conference of the GOHL) on Friday, Feb. 27 at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex.

The Listowel Cyclones (10th in the Western Conference of the GOHL) went up against the Komoka Kings (11th in the Western Conference of the GOHL) on Feb. 20 at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex.
