First mayor’s budget proposes 6.61% tax increase

LISTOWEL - The first proposed mayor’s budget for North Perth includes a property tax increase of 6.61 per cent, equal to about $161 per year, or $13 per month, for a median assessed residential household ($271,000).

LISTOWEL - According to an operations report, North Perth’s current level of winter maintenance service focuses on plowing snow from sidewalks around educational, medical, and the main commercial areas on a Monday to Friday basis, with limited maintenance on weekends and holidays.
