Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Livingstone Manor, Listowel, Ontario. Stan was born 93 years ago in Molesworth, Ontario, a son of the late George and Charlotte Heibein.
Cherished and loving father of Barbara and husband Terry Wick. Devoted grandfather to Justin & Johanne and Hollie Card and Jeff. Stan will be missed by brother Bill and Debbie and sisters Ruth Parkhouse, Julenia Draper, and Phyllis & Tom Hanna. He will be missed by Isabel’s extened family including Marg. Bridge and Eleanor Bridge and nieces and nephews. Will be dearly missed by Molly’s family Arlie (Paul), Julie (Steve) and Jim (Liz) and their extended families. He will be missed by friends Cathy Newman and Wendy McBeth
Predeceased and reunited with his father and mother, by first wife Isabel (Bridge) in 1992 and second wife Molly in 2014 and 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Stan was a member of the Calvary United Church in Listowel and Milverton Presbyterian church and Canadian Legion. Stan was a mechanic all his life at Jackson Motors and Harvey Krotz Ford in Listowel. Then in Kitchener at Gemini Motors. He also enjoyed the horse racing scene having his own horse “Right Time Gal” that won in Elmira.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held in the spring, where Stan will be interred in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to Burns Presbyterian Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and can be done on the funeral home website.
