Surrounded by the love of his family, Neil Richard Reece of London, Ontario passed away on November 18th 2021 at the age of 64.
Born in Liverpool England, February 1st, 1957. Neil will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 45 years Pat (Storozuk) Reece. Predeceased by his father Richard and his mother Lily Reece of Wingham, his brother-in-law Mike Storozuk of Bluevale and his father-in-law John Storozuk of London. He was the proud father to Sonya Reece and Brandy (Reece) Robertson (Jeff), and grandpa to Sloane. Remembered with love by his sister Cheryl Saint (Jim) of Wingham, his cousin Gary Davies (Shirley) of England, cousin Lynne Loftus (Denis) of Ireland, cousin Brenda Raven of Wales and their families. Brother-in-law to Melody Alden (John), Christopher Storozuk (Roberta), son-of-law to Kay Storozuk of London.
Neil served in the Canadian Armed Forces RCR Division for 28 years as a Warrant Officer. He had an exceptional career that brought him tours in Norway, Cyprus, Somalia, Germany, the US and Canada.
He will forever remain in the hearts of those that loved him deeply as husband, son, brother, father and grandpa.
Thank you to the transplant team and the ICU unit at London Health Science Centre for their care and compassion during the past few months.
Open visitation will take place at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street East, London, on Saturday December 4th, from 10:00am-11:00am, with private family service to follow.
