Woman charged after breaking into rural North Perth home

NORTH PERTH – A woman is facing charges after she allegedly broke into a house during a recent storm.

Just after 7:30 p.m. on July 10, Perth County OPP officers were called to a home on Road 157 in North Perth. It was reported someone had broken into the home.

According to a press release, the homeowner had returned home to find someone had broken a window to gain entry to the home. Police say the suspect changed into the homeowner’s clothes and drank a beverage.

Police found the suspect nearby on foot and arrested the suspect.

The accused, 40-year-old Tina Noble, has been charged with:

– break, enter a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence;

– fail to comply with probation order; and,

– possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine.

Noble has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
