LISTOWEL – Perth County OPP have laid a drug charge after a bicycle was stopped in Listowel earlier this month.
Police stopped a person riding a bicycle without a light on Argyle Avenue North just after 9 p.m. on May 8. Police say that they learned during their investigation that the rider of the bicycle had an outstanding warrant for their arrest.
Police arrested the rider. A search during the arrest revealed they were in possession of methamphetamine.
The accused, 37-year-old Josey-Ann Morris of North Perth, has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine and fail to comply with a probation order.
Morris has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
