From Dec. 15, 1993: New bag boys at Hart’s Food Market in Walkerton put regular workers out of a job for a couple of hours last Saturday. Walkerton fire fighters manned the tills at the store, filling grocery bags for customers. In return, customers donated food for the Walkerton and District Food Bank. Fire fighters delivered the food to the food bank with the fire truck later in the day.
