Van Allen Insurance hosts successful CF fundraiser

The public once again turned out in droves for the ninth annual Van Allen Insurance barbeque in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada on May 18 in Listowel. The event has raised tens of thousands of dollars since its inception, with all proceeds directly injected into CF Canada to aid in its life-saving work to help find a cure for the disease that impacts countless Canadians of all ages. “The support from the community has been phenomenal and it gets stronger every year,” commented Van Allen Insurance owner Shane Van Allen, whose son Wade is afflicted with CF. “I can’t believe the amount of people who come out and line up down the street.
