Two Brockton residents facing theft, possession charges

KINCARDINE – Two Brockton residents are facing charges following a reported theft from a business along Durham Street in Kincardine earlier this week.

Police say the incident occurred just after 5 p.m. on Monday, April 25.

“Officers arrived to find the described individuals were still at the business,” states a release from South Bruce OPP.

“They were both taken into custody without incident.”

Charged are Amy Van, 38, and Joseph Pollard, 33, both from the Municipality of Brockton.

Van has been charged with theft under $5,000 and three counts of possess a controlled substance.

Pollard has been charged with theft under $5,000 and two counts of possess a controlled substance.

Both of the accused are schedule to appear in Walkerton court to answer to the charges.
