PALMERSTON – Police have charged three people with break, enter and theft after receiving a suspicious vehicle complaint on Monday.
North Perth OPP received the complaint at 12:50 p.m on Dec. 9 and were dispatched to an address on Road 164, south of Palmerston.
Police say that when officers arrived they saw three men in a pickup truck that was in stuck in the mud. According to a press release, further investigation by police revealed evidence of a break, enter and theft at the property and all three men were arrested.
Charged are 33-year-old John Garett Winer of Guelph, 30-year-old Ryan Jacob Robert Amaral of Nichol Township and 31-year-old Stephan Piche of Guelph. All three have been charged with break, enter and theft. Piche is also facing a fail to comply with probation order charge.
All three were released on a promise to appear with Jan. 13, 2020 court dates.
