This giant pumpkin always catches students’ attention at the Roots of Bruce and there’s no one better than Morgan Inglis to teach students about it. Inglis, who can be seen in the background, has been at every Roots of Bruce, except the first one. The pumpkin is actually a fiberglass model, an exact replica of a 1,000-pound winner of a Pumpkinfest event about 20 years ago. These days, the winners are double that size. (Pauline Kerr photo)
