BROCKTON – Police have charged the drivers of two motorcycles on Bruce County Road 10 with racing following a traffic stop earlier this week.
On Sept. 6 just before noon, a South Bruce OPP officer saw two motorcycles travelling at a high rate of speed. In a press release, police say the bikes were clocked on radar at 146 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The drivers of the two bikes, a 32-year-old and a 29-year-old, both of Kitchener, were charged with race a motor vehicle.
Both drivers had their license suspended for seven days and their bikes impounded for seven days as per statute.
