Pair of North Perth vehicles stolen overnight on June 1

NORTH PERTH – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating an overnight theft of a Jeep Cherokee from a residence in the Municipality of North Perth.

Police responded on June 1, after the victim realized their black 2018 Jeep Cherokee had been stolen overnight from their residence on Perth Road 178 in North Perth. The keys and a wallet were left inside the vehicle.

The vehicle is valued over $25,000.

The OPP would like to remind vehicle owners to always secure their vehicle, remove ignition key and any valuables inside the vehicle. Second vehicle theft reported, recovered

Another vehicle was stolen overnight in the Municipality of North Perth.

On June 1, the Perth County OPP received a report of a vehicle that was stolen from a residence on Riverview Drive in North Perth. The stolen vehicle was a white 2019 Chevrolet Silverado. The keys were left inside.

The vehicle was then recovered in the City of Guelph, just hours after it was stolen.
