The Hearsay, ZED – The Led Zeppelin Experience, Need an Elevator to perform
LISTOWEL – The Listowel Kin Station will be a hotbed of activity throughout the month of March, with Saturday nights throughout the 43rd edition of Paddyfest featuring talented rock acts that will take the stage for three separate concerts.
“We’re turning the Kin Station this year into more of a music hall,” said Paddyfest chair Ben Zavitz.
The Paddyfest Kickoff Pub Night on Saturday, March 7 sees local act The Hearsay handed the reins to help get North Perth’s annual Irish festival underway. Doors open at the Kin Station at 9 p.m., with the band beginning their opening set at 9:15 p.m. There is a $10 cover charge at the door for this show.
Saturday, March 14 will have ZED – The Led Zeppelin Experience take the spotlight at the Kin Station. ZED is Canada’s premier Led Zeppelin tribute band, which captures the magic of the iconic rock act’s studio recordings while presenting them in a live concert show.
Tickets are $30 each or $50 a pair, and is an age of majority event. The concert gets underway at 9 p.m. with ZED taking the stage at 9:45 p.m.
Saturday, March 21 welcomes some familiar faces to the Kin Station stage, when popular local act Need an Elevator helps to close out Paddyfest 2020. Tickets are $20 and are selling in advance at Life’s a Party in Listowel or online at paddyfest.ca; this concert is age of majority only. The show runs from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.
The Listowel Kinsmen Club recommends that those wishing to attend the March 14 and 21 concerts purchase their tickets in advance, as the 250-person capacity Kin Station will fill quickly both nights.
