OUT FOR A RIP: Suspects on ATV damage cornfield in North Perth

NORTH PERTH – Perth County OPP are investigating damage at a rural property in North Perth, as well as the theft of fuel and other items.

In a press release, police said that shortly after 2 a.m. on Aug. 17, the suspects drove an ATV through a cornfield on Road 148 near Line 58, causing damage to the crops. The suspects also stole fuel, a fan and boots from the property.

The estimated value of the stolen items and damage is $1,200.

“The Perth County OPP would like to remind the public to report any suspicious activity immediately, and consider installing security features, such as increased lighting, cameras, or alarms,” stated police.
