Peacefully and surrounded by loved-ones, Rob passed away on July 3, 2026 at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa hospital from complications with his neurological condition.
Born February 5, 1951 in Walkerton, Ontario to the late Robert and Jean (Thaler) Adams, Rob leaves behind his partner Lisa Lang, his daughter Rachel (her mother Shirley) and his son Daniel (his mother Sherry). He also leaves behind his brother Steve (Diana), sister Lynne, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Rob had a long successful career in the nuclear power industry serving in a variety of senior roles with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) where he built a reputation for his focus on operational excellence.
Rob’s family wishes to thank the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital and donations in his honour can be directed to the Lakeridge Health Foundation.
A private cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services.
