Nancy Frook

Nancy Frook, of Tiverton, passed away peacefully with family by her side at South Bruce Health Care, Kincardine on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was 72.

Born in Owen Sound on April 25, 1951, to the late Maurice and Jean (nee Meyers) Haase. Nancy was known as an energetic and full loving person, who always went about her day with positivity. She led a very active lifestyle, and was always busy ensuring those around her were having a good time. She and her husband Ken enjoyed raising their family, and in recent years they especially enjoyed cheering on their grandchildren at various sporting functions all over the province. Ken and Nancy lived in Walkerton for many years, where they owned and operated Tri-County Brick, and Nancy also worked for many years in as a legal assistant in a law office. She was a dear friend to many, and enjoyed travelling, skiing, and golfing with a group of close friends.  When she wasn’t busy with family or out socializing, you could often find her tending to her beautiful gardens.

Nancy was also an active member of Faith Lutheran church in Port Elgin. At Faith Lutheran she was an enthusiastic member of the choir and loved sharing her faith by teaching in the Sunday School.

Beloved wife of Ken Frook of Tiverton, and mother of Derek (Erin) Frook of Kincardine, Jill (David) Morrissey of Ottawa, and Bryan (Shannon) Frook of Moorefield.  Proud grandmother of Carter, Cohen, Tegan, Cody, Molly, Tucker, Cooper, and Mabel. Fondly remembered by Ken’s family, and many dear friends. Predeceased by her parents.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Port Elgin, on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11 am, followed by a reception and visitation at the church hall from 12:30 – 3 pm – all are welcome to attend. Pastor Darlyne Rath officiating. A private family inurnment service will be held in Kincardine Columbarium in the spring.
