Larry Voelkel of Walkerton passed away on Tuesday August 11th at St. Marys Hospital in Kitchener in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Mack) and daughter Sara Yandt, son Steve (Quin), grandfather of Josh, Brook, Gavin, Gwen and Grady and great grandfather of Romeo and sister in law Marlene Bennington.
Larry’s presence will be missed by his black lab Diesel. Larry worked at BDO Walkerton as an accountant for over fifty years. He was a life long member of the Neusdadt Baptist church and was an avid amateur genealogist.
Predeceased by his parents Philip and Gertrude and his sister Phyllis.
