Harold David Arand of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 14, 2026, in his 73rd year.
Father of Nathan (Laura) and Carrie, and grandpa to Archer, Ada, Sawyer and Wallace.
Harold was the son of the late Henry and Florence (Fink) Arand. Cherished brother to Joanne Becker, Linda (Paul) O’Conner, and Walter Arand, all of Kitchener, Brian Arand of Stratford, Debbie Dessler of Kitchener, and John (Susan) Arand of London, and brother-in-law of Heather Arand, and Lois Group, both of Milverton, and Riek Arand of Manitoba. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by Carolyn (Morgan) Arand, his dear friend Ameela Maharaj, brothers Joe (Betty) Arand, George Arand, Bob Arand, Bernie (Madeline) Arand, Norman Arand, Bert Arand, Arnie Arand, and Jim Arand, and sisters Doris Gingrich, Verna Bogusat (Kenneth), Marlene Hill, and Peggy Arand.
Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Sunday, September 20 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
A celebration of Harold’s life was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.. with reception that followed.
Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton.
