It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frederick Charles “Fred” Sieffert, who passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, at Hanover Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Southampton, Ontario, to the late Harold Sieffert and Evelyn (Holtz) Sieffert, Fred lived a life defined by hard work, quiet strength, and a deep love for his family.
Fred was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara (Ball) Sieffert, in 2005. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 20 years, Barb Dean.
Cherished father of Jasmine (Jerry) Gade of Walkerton and Morgan (Jesse) Graham of Paisley. Proud and devoted Grandpa to Coby (Natlie), Travis, Taylor, Carson, Sawyer, and Emersyn, who brought him endless pride and joy.
Fred is also survived by his brother Don Sieffert and his mother-in-law Loretta Weber. He was predeceased by his brother Rod (Dottie) Sieffert and his brother-in-law Freddy Ball.
Fred had a life long passion for music, especially the piano and found great joy in sharing his gift with friends and family. He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, willingness to lend a hand, and the lasting impact he had on everyone who knew him. His love for his family will continue to live on through the memories they cherish.
In keeping with Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Fred’s life will be held at the Best Western in Walkerton, Ontario. The family will be hosting a Come and Go celebration on Sunday August 9, from 1-4 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Fred’s memory may be made to Southampton Care Centre Music & Entertainment Department.
