In loving memory of Donna Marie McIntyre of Gowanstown who passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Donna was born in Hamilton on August 20, 1941 and passed peacefully with her daughter by her side.
Devoted and loving wife of Leonard John McIntyre of Listowel for 62 years.
Loving and loyal mother to Sherrie (McIntyre) Goll the late Jason Goll of Gowanstown, and Phil & Tamara McIntyre of St. Clements.
Donna Marie McIntyre will be lovingly remembered for her honesty, genuine nature, her ability to love and forgive, her gratitude, and for her unmeasured strength. She had a unique quality of grace and fierceness for those she loved. Donna was known to be quite the firecracker and kept loved ones on their toes. She enjoyed spending time with her family, a medium Tim Hortons Double Double, and she had a Hunk of Burning Love for Elvis Presley.
Mom, we will miss you and cherish your love every day, and carry every memory in our hearts tightly until we meet again. Let your light shine bright our loving mother. Show Heaven how it’s supposed to be ran and have that slow dance with Jason.
We would like to thank Beverley Hiltz and Colleen and Warren Young. Their support was instrumental in mom’s care. We are also grateful for the wonderful staff at the Stratford Rotary Hospice that gave our mother unmeasured care and dignity in the final steps of her beautiful journey.
