Dale MacKinnon Davidson of Belmore, passed away surrounded by family, at London Health Sciences Centre – University Hospital, on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, at age 80.
Beloved husband of Linda Davidson (née Wilson).
Dear father of Darin Davidson (Shelley) and Dwight Davidson.
Missed by his grandchildren, Derek Davidson (Tina Wall), Garrett Davidson, Tyler Davidson and Treena Davidson (Rodney Kraemer) and great-grandchildren, Hailey Davidson, Aubrey Davidson and Leela Kraemer.
Fondly remembered by his sisters Leona Konnings (Burt), Janette Martin, sisters-in-law Brenda, Charmaine, Darlene and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Alexander “Mac” and Charlotte (née Powell) Davidson, sisters Pat Scammel (Steve), Donna Davidson and Frances Dubois (Arthur), brother Elwood Davidson and brother-in-law Bob Thompson.
Dale was a bit of a hobbyist. Always collecting, always on the lookout for his next great find. He loved attending toy shows and flea markets, searching for a new treasure, whether it was a toy tractor, truck, figurine or really anything that caught his eye.
He also found true happiness living “Up North”, where he could spend his time hunting, fishing, and enjoying the quiet outdoors, and the simple pace of life that he loved so much.
But more than the things he collected or the hobbies he enjoyed, Dale truly valued the time he spent with the people he loved. He had a special way of bringing everyone together, whether it was around a table playing cards or simply sharing stories and laughter with family.
Those moments full of connection, fun, and togetherness are what we’ll remember most. His love for the simple joys in life and for his family is something that will stay with all of us.
