PERTH EAST – Perth County OPP have charged one person after a threats investigation.
Police say the victim called police on May 8 after receiving threatening messages from someone the victim had previously dated. According to police, the suspect had been asked to stop communicating with the victim, but continued to do so, and during the communication, the threats were made.
Police have charged a 42-year-old North Perth resident with uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
