Early intervention would serve youth better
In June, a bank was robbed in Durham, a midwestern Ontario town many of us have either visited (beautiful conservation park and hiking trails, right on the river) or driven through (Highway 6). The robbers were apparently armed with a machete and handgun. Police have now made arrests.

New artifact makes a splash at the Bruce County Museum
SOUTHAMPTON - The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre has received an incredible marine artifact donation: a Mackinaw boat called the Kayoshk. The name comes from the Ojibwe word gayasshk meaning “Seagull”.
