A few weeks ago, I was scrolling on Instagram and found a post that caught my attention. The post stated that, in China, researchers have developed a stem-cell based treatment that “cured” a type one and type two diabetic a year after treatment.

I grew up in a union house – not a pro-union house (probably not an anti-union one either, to the best of my memory) – but a house where both incomes came from unionized jobs. It gave me a unique view of unions and the good (and bad) they do in the world.
