Province set to consolidate 36 conservation authorities into seven under new agency

TORONTO - On Oct. 31, the Ontario government announced it will soon introduce legislation to create a new agency that will change the way conservation authorities do business, while strengthening the role they play in managing watersheds and protecting communities from floods and natural hazards.
