Listowel single-vehicle crash sends driver to hospital, Dec. 12

Dan McNee Photo COLLISION – Emergency responders make their way to the scene of a single-vehicle collision at Livingstone Manor in Listowel, after a sedan crashed into a hydro pole on Thursday, Dec. 12 at approximately 9 a.m. The driver was transported to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while Main Street West was closed for a period of time while utility crews repaired the damage.

LISTOWEL – On Dec. 12 at approximately 9:10 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police North Perth detachment responded to a single motor-vehicle collision on Main Street West in Listowel.

A sedan collided with a concrete hydro pole; the lone driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of this collision, Main Street West between Albert Street and Livingstone Avenue was temporarily closed so that utility crews could repair the hydro pole. Further information will be provided as updates become available.
