To the editor,
I would like to applaud Coun. Tim Elphick for his hard work to have five occurrence type violations removed from our police billing on the municipal budget.
This has been going on since the jail was closed, and we have paid. Someone finally cared enough to pursue that we have been unfairly charged for years! One hundred thousand dollars is a lot of money for us to be unfairly charged, and that’s only the last five years!
