This is our last chance to relay legitimate concerns to the government of Ontario regarding pending approval of the Industrial Wind Turbine project adjacent to Luther Marsh, just north of the Town of Grand Valley.
Luther Marsh is a globally recognized Important Bird Area, the adjacent area also supports abundant and diverse communities of organisms, including floral and faunal Species at Risk. As such, it is a location completely unsuited to wind turbine installation.
Comments/letters must be received before February 27, 2014 for consideration in the approval process. Further information on the project and how/where to send letters is posted on the Environmental Registry at: www.ebr.gov.on.ca. Enter EBR#012-0827 in the search line.
