This letter is a thank you that must be written as there never is an opportunity to say it in person. This letter goes out to all the snow plow and sander/salter operators in our County and beyond.

I know, many people curse you for your slow speed, take chances on passing you due to the “conga” line of cars that you sometimes create…but not I. I do not tailgate your vehicle and, in fact, breathe a sigh of relief when I see you up ahead – I have always called you my friend even though we have never met. It is because of you that I am able to arrive safely at work and back to my home on those days that we are reminded we live in Ontario. More importantly, you keep the roads safe for my son, who is now driving, and who is my heart and soul.

Thank you for all you do – you are never told enough. Have a very safe and happy Christmas.
