The tennis courts at the Fordwich Park in Howick are set to get some needed TLC from the park committee after Howick Council approved transferring $18,000 to the committee to resurface and repair the asset. The funding is coming from the parkland fee, specifically from funds generated through the Fordwich North Estates, in which each property was subject to a $750 cash-in-lieu-of-parkland fee.
